Vagabond Resort Accommodation In Winter Park
Our Vagabond Affiliated Resort is located one block off the Main Street in beautiful Downtown Winter Park, with a Free Bus-Stop right outside the Resort.
Being in the heart of the Town of Winter Park, restaurants, bars and shopping are all within easy walking distance, and the Winter Park Visitors Center
is just a 5 minute walk away, the Grand Park Community Recreation Center is just a 14 minute walk away, and the Cozens Ranch House Museum only a 17
minute walk away. Parking is available at the Resort, but given this great location, free bus service and easy communing options to Denver, a car is not
necessary.
Our Resort features a Heated Outdoor Swimming Pool; Outdoor Summertime Gas Grills; Two Hot Tubs & A Sauna; A Games Room with Two Pool Tables,
Fussball Table, Air Hockey Table & Table Tennis; Coin Operated Laundry; and finally Two Communal Lounges.
Our Condo Units Are Spacious Two-Bedroom Two-Bathroom and Three-Bedroom Two Full Bathroom & Two Half Bathroom
Self Catering Units. Main Bedrooms features Queen Beds. Second and Third Bedrooms have two Double Beds in each room.
In the
Living Room there is a pull-out Queen Sleeper Couch. Where a Condo Unit is rented on a 'Shared Basis', the Sleeper
Couch is not used for sleeping, and each bedroom can accommodate a maximum of two people, with those in the Main
Bedroom sharing the Queen Bed (i.e. ideal for a couple). Kitchens are complete with
all cookware, plates and silverware, and a full sized refrigerator. These are truly
Home-From-Home' Condos.

Getting Around Grand County
The Free Lift Bus Service runs year round with service between Winter Park, Fraser and Grandby. These routes are extended in the Ski Season
making getting anywhere in the area easy and fun, including the Winter Park Resort Ski Base. Buses run from 7.30am to 2.00am during Ski season,
and from 7.00am to 2.30am in the Summer. Please visit the Lift Website for more information.
Getting Here & Transportation
Ski Season Visitors have 3 Basic Options to get from Denver International Airport to Winter Park. These are:

Busses & Trains - From Denver To Winter Park & Back.
Another option to get to Winter Park is to catch a bus or train from Union Station in
Downtown Denver to the Winter Park/Fraser Area.
And getting from Denver International Airport (DEN) to Union Station is also pretty easy via the
A-Line on Denver Rapid Train System (RTD). Trains leave DEN every 10 to 15 minutes most hours of the day.

* Bus - From Denver To Winter Park & Back.
The most 'cost-effective' way to get to Winter Park from Union Station in
Downtown Denver and back, is to take the Bustang Bus. This costs just $11 per passenger
each way ($5.50 for those over 65 years), at time of writing, and runs once per day each way.

The bus stop in Winter Park is at the Lift Cooper Creek Transit Center. From here you can take
the Free Lift Bus Service to our resort. Bustang is run by the Colorado Department of Transportation.
* Train - California Zephhyr Express.
This train runs daily departing Denver Union
Station around 8am and
arriving at the Fraser/Winter Park Station around 10am. Fares for this trip start at around $55.
From Fraser/Winter Park Station this train leaves around 3:40pm and arrives in at Denver Union Station
around 6:40pm. Fares for this trip start at around $24. Hence a round trip can cost as little as $79!

* Train - The ski train is back for the 2024 - 2025 season — with fares starting at $19!
All aboard the Amtrak Winter Park Express — your ticket between Denver and the Winter Park Resort.
To meet growing demand, the ski train now starts the last two weekends of 2024,
December 20 - 22 and December 27 -29, plus January 3 - 5. Expanded service begins on January 9, 2025
and runs Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays through March 31.
One-way fares start at $19, with kids fares (age 2 - 12) starting at just $9.50.

If you need to overnight in Denver, you can explore everything
from 16th Street Mall to Larimer Square and stay right in the renovated Union Station,
or explore many of the fine accommodations right in the heart of Downtown. Then, in the morning,
exchange city thrills for mountain adventures!
- Vehicle Rental / Self Drive.
Last but not least, rent a car or drive to the resort. Before settling on this option, please
check to see if there will be parking available at the resort if you are participating in a
Shared Condo plan, as unfortunately parking may be limited per the number of cars per Condo Unit
at the resort during peak weeks. Also, if travelling in the late Fall, Winter or early Spring months,
